GREAT PLACE!!! Food was excellent and the service was wonderful!!!

The best haystack in the area for breakfast. My wife had scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon. She said it was one of the best breakfasts she has had in the area. Love what the new owners have done with the place!! Will definitely go back again soon.

I stopped here a couple times while camping at Whitewater State Park. It's a small town bar and grill, and they have a surprisingly nice variety on their menu, although a bit light if you're looking for vegetables. On a Thursday evening for a group dinner of 13. We had called ahead and they were all ready for us! We had the place to ourselves for the first 30 or so minutes. They had no problem with all the separate checks. There's a great happy hour from 5 7 p.m. with $2 beers (draft or can)!! And they were good beers, too! I split a Philly sandwich and sweet potato fries with a friend. It was a good sandwich, but not the best ever. The menu mentions a salad bar, but it's only available on Friday and Saturday evenings. I returned for breakfast on Sunday morning before heading out of town with my carpool buddy. She had the breakfast burrito and I had the loaded hashbrowns. Both were very generous servings and we both cleaned our plates. Overall, a solid choice for a small town and very friendly staff.

We love their breakfast! Can't beat it. Reasonably priced, friendly and delicious.

Delicious food in a casual environment. French fries were crispy outside and tasty as were the sweet potato fries. Good service and friendly staff.
