Hoss's Steak Sea House - Altoona

Only reason they get 2 stars is I ate there when the good steak cook was there and the waitress and manager was mortified about how horrible it looked. They have a good salad bar but watch for the wilted lettuce. The waitress was a very hard worker and waswonderful.

Delicious food, amazing customer service. I am astounded at the cleanliness and maintenance of the building. I have worked in many restaurants and know the deterioration of chairs, floor tiles, etc. This location had nothing broken that i could see. Not even trash near the dumpsters. Great job keeping up with everything.

Great waitress and clean facilities. Just got the salad bar for multiple bowls of soup which are always delicious but also added the $2 cheeseburger you get att a discount for purchasing salad bar. For $2 it was a delicious cheeseburger. Hoss's has great soups and more.

Excellent!! Clean, welcoming friendly restaurant with soup, salad bar offerings not found in most eateries. Wonderful server (Grace) carefully took our order, answered questions and attentively worked her station. We have been to Hoss's many times in the past and it does not disappoint. Food prepared to perfection!!
