I'm new to Altoona. New to the state actually. But I will agree with their name. Best food in town. I went in for lunch and I ordered General Tso Chicken and hot and sour soup. The food was hot and fresh. But best of all it was yummy. View all feedback.

Good food, but rude service. The food is decent but here are some fair warnings about this place: <br/ 1. They will typically try to overcharge you -be vigilant<br/ 2. They will speak about you right in front of you as if you are not there (I studied overseas briefly and know enough of the language to know that they are never happy with my special requests and they think I am fat -I'm 6'3' and weigh 230).<br/ 3. Do not plan to make any special request to your meal. They will disregard it anyways, repeatedly.<br/ <br/ Despite all of this, I've been a loyal customer for years just because I enjoy their food so much but that may soon change. I am moderately allergic to one of the ingredients that they use (gives me hives, and it's getting worse with time but not too bad) and have to deal with it when they insist on including it but I recently discovered Number One Chinese on the boulevard and there food is equal to Best Food in Town and they don't give me any strife about leaving out the ingredient. <br/ <br/ I can recommend the food but remember that if you would happen to have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, you will need to double check for non-inclusion before you leave the restaurant.
