The restaurant here is very good, the house wine is good and very reasonably priced, I don't think we have ever come away disappointed in the food. The prices are a little high for the venue but if you choose carefully you can find something in your price range. I think their charge for bringing a birthday cake is a bit cheeky, especially if there is a large number of family celebrating a members birthday. It just see... View all feedback.
What Tobin Stark doesn't like about Kooringal Golf Club:
I meet friends there each fortnight for dinner, usually have steak, had a couple of good steaks but on the last 3 occasions steak was like shoe leather and cold, chips cold, staff don't appear to care much when you complain. Our friends also complained about cold vegetables, another friend ordered sticky date pudding and after a while asked where it was and was told we ran out of them an hour ago. My steak was supposed to be med to well done was was on the verge of rare and the red wine jus was not good
Had dinner with my partner in Skippers restaurant at Kooringal Golf Club and enjoyed it very much. Peckish have taken over the restaurant and the new menu is varied and has a lot of choices. The restaurant was fairly full when we arrived but after ordering our meal arrived within half an hour. It was everything that was promised, I had the seafood linguine which had plenty of seafood and topped with half a Morton Bay bug.Very nice. My partner had the American barbecued pork ribs with onion rings and chips and accompanied with garden salad - best ribs he has had. Great food and service at a reasonable price.
I went out for dinner with friends on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, efficient service, and very reasonable prices for a delicious meal. The drinks were also reasonably priced. Overall, it was an excellent local spot for a tasty meal and enjoyable conversation with friends.

Before the latest take over it had a great family feeling. The big stand out at this venue is the staff, they make the place.
