I had the Wels and a... read more We were visiting a host family in Wisconsin and decided to give this restaurant a try for some Southern cuisine. We were not disappointed! I had the Wels and a whisky burger, both of which were homemade and absolutely delicious. The decor was really cool as well. My nephew tried sweet tea for the first time and couldn’t stop talking about it for days! Unfortunately, they had to close due to Covid before we could go back again. But next time we’re in town, we’ll definitely be returning! I love this place and the name too!

The first thing that caught my attention was the wonderful aroma wafting from outside. They offer both a menu and a buffet, and we chose the buffet after being tempted by the delicious options on display. Everything was absolutely delightful! My husband was especially impressed with the fried chicken, which featured massive chicken legs, while I couldn't resist the smashed pork chops and lasagna—both were too good to pass up. We saved just enough room for dessert (I indulged in a mini cone) and were so pleased with our experience. Our server was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a welcoming and comfortable place. We can’t wait to return!

Not only do they offer fantastic dishes, but they also contribute positively to the community in many ways. Tessa and Rick are wonderful people who work with integrity and dedication. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I can't stress this enough huge portions. Great friendly atmosphere. They also serve some spring diper ice cream! They also have a buffet! The fries are hand cut! The ranch seems to be homemade and is very good. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! The sandwich in the picture I think is the rascal is a sandwich with Mac n cheese and pulled pork between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I have also bad a few of the other burger options and you can get pretzel buns!
