We had a great time at Heaven's kitchen for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and portions were great. I had calamari to start and a lamb roast... it was divine. Our waitress Swizel was so friendly and inviting. We used a Groupon voucher which I thought was very good value for money. We would recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Heaven's Kitchen Alton:
while eating was tasty, it was not as excellent as a year ago the portions were much smaller to higher cost. it seems that there is a new owner who would explain the new Greek submenu. overall I am unlikely to be disappointed that I return. View all feedback.
Friendly service, good choice, quality eating, beautiful experience.
We were a party of 6, we were very impressed with the service we received, staff very friendly, food was superb you wouldn’t get a better steak anywhere. Although a bit pricey the whole experience was amazing. Definitely be returning (when can afford it)
Steaks were ok quality of meat was not great. I had asked for chicken but apparently there was none left. Ended up having ribs which were mostly tasteless. Side were prett terribleZ asparagus was not fresh and totally over cooked. Truffle chips were old and overcooked. Drinks were good but pricey. The wine was surprisingly good! Service was haphazard one young waiter doing his best but seemed like he was struggling a little. The more experienced manager seemed uninterested at best. Bill was expensive compared to anywhere in the country. We bumped into some residents back at the hotel and they raved about the place they went to for dinner so there are definitely other options in Alton. Take them.
We had a fab meal. Our waiters really looked after us as did the Maitre d’ A perfect evening
Meal was let down by an over pushy waitress- almost forcing you to order extras
