Disappointing. I give it a 3/5. From the beginning, I had: opera menu and a tea (they have tea pairings, which luckily I did not order . Altogether around €130. I 'll go plate by plate. 1- The small appetizers: somewhat simple, with fairly humble raw materials and slightly flat taste. This is ok considering that this is NOT a Michelin star restaurant. 2- First: a kind of salad of chard, plums and hazelnut sauce. It smelled good, but, something I will repeat a lot: tasteless. But it was good as a starter. 3- Second: one scallop with citrus. The scallop was just okay and the sauce tasteless. Here things are starting to go awry more than they should. 4- Third: Iberian pig bombetta . The only dish I fully enjoyed. Good product, well made, very tasty, very tender, as the rest of the menu should have been. 5- Fourth: Tagliolino with avocado and lupin sauce. Ok, I have no problem with putting pasta on a “fancy” menu, but really, it was tasteless and with a small amount of a very average sauce (avocado and lupins, should I repeat how much the menu costs? . 6- Fifth: Sardinian fregola with cuttlefish and myrtle berries. This is when I already lost faith. Second dish of pasta on a €110 menu and when there is not much left to finish. Three tiny pieces of cuttlefish, and the dish is VERY tasteless. The worst of the night. 7- “Sixth”: Giuggiole broth. Yes, you read that right, literally a broth. Yes, without anything else, a small cup with giugiiole broth and a small sphere of I don 't know what. According to them: “to refresh before the main course.” Ok, yes, I 'm fine with this. But should it appear in the menu card? I would like to think that it is not to pretend the menu is longer than it is... 8- “Main course”: Pigeon with banana and curry. Ok, finally a product that would justify the price. Somewhat small quantity. The meat was good, and the mixture was tasty (but simple , the problem is some parts of the meat were hot and others were cold. I won 't add anything else. 9- Predessert: kiwi ice cream between two sheets of chocolate. Again, humble product that does not justify the price, tasteless, and in the end it is what it is, an ice cream sandwich without anything special. 10- Dessert: opera. The mixture with pomegranate juice is good. Correct dessert, although they put a kind of chia on top which only provides an unpleasant texture. 11- Post-dessert: very normal things that I am not even going to comment on. 12- Tea: the tea cost me 12€. I am very fond of tea, at home we don 't care about spending money on Marriage Freres, for example. That said, charging me €12 for a cup of tea without any grace is a shame. All this adds an excessive wait between dishes. I agree with leaving a little time between dishes, basically for digestive reasons, but spending almost three hours for the menu that I have told you about makes no sense. I do not have much to add. Maybe I 'm very strange and I 'm just a bitter person who has no idea about food and the hundreds of excellent reviews are right. The restaurant showcases the flavors of local premium ingredients beautifully, both in presentation and taste. The seasonal menu design is truly inspired. The wine pairing complements the dishes perfectly, enhancing their flavors without overpowering them. It's a restaurant with soul and intelligence. Carlo and Federico are incredibly dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable, greatly enriching my understanding of local cuisine.
