LG. $5 milk shake the best I ever had in my life!! I GOT THE STRAWBERRY CHEESE CAKE SHAKE!! YUMMY! frys were good Cheese burgers not so great, they tasted like they were cooked in the oven, no flavor at all and were Luke warm. Wasn't impressed by the food but it was also dirt cheap. The restaurant had a cozy, friendly diner atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating in a walkable location. Very good food and the girls will even wait on you in the car.
It's been five years since I had dinner with Chef. We were in and out of Altavista on weekends. We had three meals. Breakfast, burgers, hot dogs, onion rings and good scholarship. I suggest a repair at Chef's!!
Great little mother and pop place. Very large menu for such a lonely place. The prices are mostly very fair. Friendly staff.
I'm going to work to avoid chains. This is a small place, but good food. Enjoy and will be back. A must.
The food was outstanding and the service was great. The clientele were also exceptionally sweet people who had a long history of going there. Definitely a place to revisit time and time again!
