Longhorn Steakhouse - Altamonte Springs

This was the best takeout I've ever had! I ordered the steak and shrimp with broccoli.

We were seated right away, and the food arrived piping hot, which is my favorite! Our server, a young woman whose name I didn't catch, provided excellent service. My husband ordered a medium-rare steak, and it was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the pita chips that came with the spinach artichoke dip; they were cut and deep-fried, making them quite greasy. Next time, I’ll request that the pita chips be left unfried. However, the waitress kindly brought us an extra loaf of bread for dipping, which was a nice touch.

I absolutely loved my meal! This was my first time ordering from here, and the takeout was so delicious that I now want to dine in person. First time here brought the family, was a nice experience. Service we received was great and the food was good. Would try again.

Maybe teach the cooks the difference between medium well and medium rare. Blood was coming out like they only seared the top and bottom and put on plate. Had to send back because the amount of blood on the plate. Then the chopped steak was under cooked as well smothered in gravy and didn't notice until the gravy was taken off and realized the steak also was excessively ****. Left over half on the plate because we didn't want to send back two plates. Oil seemed old, wild west shrimp were very soggy and plate was drenched in brown oil grease. Doubt we will come back, seems like things are changing for the worse at this location. Will have to find a new steak house
