I had high hopes for this place from what I read and saw, and I was not disappointed!! The gentleman recommended seasonal flavors ? lemon and almond, and we also tried strawberry and coffee. Honestly, lemon and almond were above and beyond what we?ve expected. They were soooo goood!! And they were so good together!!! Super refreshing, no artificial flavors, just tasted like fresh, creamy delicately sweet lemon and fr... View all feedback.
What Karen Z doesn't like about Bulgarini Gelato Vino Cucina:
Ordered pizza for take out, when it was time to pay I was told it was $26. Just 3 weeks ago I ordered the same pizza for togo I was charged $24. It seems like they just make up the price on the spot, and justifies it as “tax”. Come on, be consistent. When business jip you a dollar or two and counting pennies it really leaves a bad taste in our mouth. Keep it consistent. Keep it honest. View all feedback.

Maybe this is super authentic Italian food, I can't speak to that, but I got the duck ragu and it was not at all what I expected. It was more similar to a thick chicken noodle soup. The noodles tasted like the egg chicken soup noodles and the sauce had no tomato or the things you would expect in a ragu, or the usual slow simmer process. The meat was tiny chunks and didn't taste like duck. It also had long thyme stems that got suck in my mouth. Only ate a couple bites. The person I went with got the wild boar pasta and also didn't like it. The noodles were better, but the sauce wasn't tomato as expected and still didn't taste good. Way too expensive for what we got. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Focaccia
I used to go to Bulgarini since the early days, when it was a cart. For me it is the gold standard for gelato in town. Recently I went back after 6 7 years, and happy to say that it is just as delicious and refreshing. This time of year they have stone fruit sorbets peach. Nectarine, plum and apricot. My very favorite there is the pistachio so creamy and nutty. They also offer frozen food takeout and have an outdoor dining space.
