I love sushi, and this is the ONLY reas... read more I have been here several times, we always go here for lunch whenever we are in Alta- which is at least 3-5 times a year. I love sushi, and this is the ONLY reason we keep coming back here. As far as I know, this is the only sushi place in Alta. The service here is absolutely awful. We always have to wait a really long time to get seated, to get service in regards to order drinks, and also we always have to wait a really long time to be able to pay. The staff doesn’t pay any attention at all to customers needs, and they are often rude. The last time we were there, we sat at a booth and it was not even cleaned properly, bit we sat down anyway. We started eating, and waited for someone to come and take our drink order. No one came. There was a pitcher of lukewarm water at our table, and we would really have wanted new, cold water. When a waitress finally came to our table and asked if everything was ok, i said «No, could we please get some new and cold water?». And she very rudely responded that she did not have the time to get us some new water because there was so many people in the restaurant. Thats the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. She didn’t even ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The sushi is expensive, and they don’t have many different types to choose from, but the ones i choose are always good.

It was all good un... read more We ordered take away and took the food back to the hotel. The service was friendly and speedy; it took only 12 minutes to make our 20 pieces. It was all good until we saw the result. I was sloppy. The rolls were not tight, the nigri were uneven and the fish was not cut to perfection, and this is the first time that I ever have been served salmon with the brown/grey meat still on. Like other revivers have mentioned here, the pieces are too large. Some of them in the jumbo category. This is not what I like. The bites should be mouth fitting, or easy to manage in two bites. The price had been right, if it all had been made with some love and care.
