The Trap And Grill - Alta

I was really apprehensive eating here because of the poor reviews. We ordered the carne asada tacos and spinach dip and were extremely surprised by the flavor! The steak was cooked perfectly for the tacos and the dip was so gooey and flavorful. TheTarghee Mule was really good, though it comes in a glass it tastes incredible. The Skiers Edge was really smooth. Our favoritewas the sloshie, which was huckleberry lemonade flavored. I really don?t know why this place has such bad reviews! We walkedpast someone who had wings (another review said they were tiny) and they looked normal sized and smelled delicious. Oh- and theservice was incredible. Cristy was our server and she was so awesome!

Objectively terrible food. Fries have no potato left in them. Five spice wings? Disgusting. No salt on the Bavarian pretzel. Targhee fries were cold. Other wing flavors were decent. Do yourself a favor and dodge this bullet unless you are just going todrink.

An iconic ski bar with friendly employees...great beers on tap and live music every Fri and Sat afternoon...can't go wrong skiing pow at the Ghee and then taking a break at the Trap! Highly recommended... one of the best ski bars anywhere!

Came for our anniversary and came out to this place to find a good seat and coffee. When we were helped the lady told us me we couldn't sit at a table outside if we were just going to order coffee. She said we could sit on the grass. After paying $8 forjust 2 small coffees, I think we would deserve to sit at a table outside! ????

Excellent food and service two nights in a row. The waffle fries are tasty and cooked well. The live music from 3-6 was also great. Maybe under new management/menu compared to prior reviews?
