What Frieda Gärtner doesn't like about Akropolis,Griechische Spezialitaten:
Ambiente anstrengend für das Auge. Griechenland-Kitsch vom Feinsten. Es fehlt nur das Fischernetz an der Decke. Auf dem Teller farblose Langeweile. Der Service ist schlicht. Die Auswahl in Alsfeld ist sicher nicht groß, aber hier sollte man besser nicht einkehren View all feedback.
(an dinner with a person for 21.10 euro about 200 meters from the marketplace, so in just a few minutes to walk, next to the so-called storchennest (leonhardtsturm, the only preserved tower of the old city fortification, built 1386, is the Greek restaurant acropolis. After I found a taste yesterday in alex gyros house in marburg, today's lunch break led me into the acropolis. some parking spaces are available either directly in the restaurant or they are looking for a free space in one of the next roads or near the market place. through the leonhardtsturm, the acropolis is hardly to miss, but now appears quite unmistakable in the still inhospitable early-flight weather, although it offers a lot of space, both inside and outside. the 150 seats outside the area were of course still closed. for me it was the first visit here. again I was early, but this time not the first to be gassed. after entering the large, holding dark dining room in the Theken area, I was kindly greeted, asked about number of people and whether non-smoking or smoker. next to the main hall there are two winter garden areas, one for smoker, one for non-smoking. in the latter I then sought a beautiful bright table with a view of the Greek beer garden . the menu was quickly handed over to me, but I had to send the herd away again two times because I could not decide. the first problem was: tageskarte or a la carte? the most favorable travel of the Midday card with 22 from five to seven euro were somewhat suspicious for me. but there are also lunch tickets to use the offer regularly. Nevertheless, I prefer a selection from the regular card, especially as I wanted to choose a starter. I can't judge the lunch table. that must be brought back sometime, what is already called: I like to come back! the regular card is very extensive (and wide) with about 200 things, but it does not beat them. it only takes its time to get a first clear. to a comparison to the marburger gyros house, as main food suvlakia I decided whether the different fonts (souvlaki in marburg displays the different nature of the dishes? as an appetizer I was looking for fried feta cheese. in the same breath I was asked if I wanted to take a day soup to the house, and after I had asked what that is (soup with chop meatballs and noodles that I wanted to take with you. a kind of greeting the house. later I asked again, because this chop meat soup does not exist on the regular card, and so I learned that every day in the week would be offered a different suppe than the day soup that is not in the card. a nice gesture, but I was a little surprised when the fritted feta and the soup at the same time found a place in front of me. that could have been made more skillful. When looking at the cranes nest on the nearby tower I stumbled into this restaurant and had a delightful meal the food staff and atmosphere were really good and the place was packed an indication that others thought the same, would definitely go back.
