Ginger Noodle - Alpine
Ginger Noodle
Description
Tucked inside Viejas Casino, this casual counter-order Asian spot serves generous, affordable portions with a modern, warm interior. Pho and walnut shrimp earn praise, while drunken noodles, rice, and kalbi can be inconsistent. You order at the counter, self-seat, and food is brought out—expect waits during peak times and uneven floor-staff assistance despite a busy, efficient kitchen. Good for families, groups, and takeout; avoid rush hour for the best experience.

Literally, the worst Asian food I’ve ever had in my life ! Bland ! Ramen was disgusting ? so was the pad Thai ! I am warning you get anything else in the casino except for this food . I’ve tried it twice again the worst food ever ! Need new chefs or new recipes immediately!!!! I have had lots asian food if all types . But this place just ruined my vacation
The food is typically delicious. Today we were very disappointed as the food was in poor condition. We asked to speak to the manager and there was none.Food: 1/5
This location is inside the casino. The front desk employee was very friendly, greeting us taking out orders. The orders here are done first. You pay and then self seat. They then bring the food to your table. Keep in mind it is not a table service restaurants there are no servers. We needed a few things like extra limes to go boxes, we were willing to get ourselves no problem, but the employees on the floor made it feel like they absolutely did not want to help us. It was kinda awkward. Now about the food, it was very tasty big portions. The rice I didn't enjoy it was dry stale. I had the lumpia for a started a kung pao chicken type of dish. mango pudding for the dessert. Keep in mind you orders first, then the comes all together start entree dessert. To drink, I just had the free water at the casino. Nothing grabbed my attention on the menu. I really liked the inside decor it was very modern, nice, warm lighting.
My husband and I both tried the Tonkotsu Ramen along with a side of lumpia. The lumpia was quite tasty! They also gave us small water bottles featuring the Viejas casino logo, which I thought was a nice touch. The service was really fast! However, the downside was that the ramen broth tasted quite watery, and the pork lacked flavor. I might opt for something different on my next visit!
My son wanted to celebrate his birthday at this restaurant because he had heard great things about their kalbi. Overall, the restaurant has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, without being overly fancy. However, I have to say that the kalbi was slightly undercooked, and the ribs were cut a bit thin. On the other hand, the walnut shrimp was exceptional, so much so that we ordered a second serving. The Pad Thai combo was also flavorful. I would definitely come back to eat here, but I would ask for the kalbi to be cooked medium well rather than rare.
