We stopped here for dinner the other night on our way home from Julian. My adult daughter and I ordered the eggplant parmesan. My other adult daughter ordered the stuffed shells. We could tell everything was prepared fresh. The tomato sauce on theeggplant and on the side of spaghetti was delicious and you could tell the eggplant dish was cooked fresh. It didn't come fromthe freezer prepared a week in advance. The servers were lovely and friendly. It's fairly out of our neighborhood (MissionValley), but next time we head up that way, we will definitely return! Highly recommend!
That's the pizza they gave us after they screwed up our order. The first and last time here. EDIT: So I went back to Donatos since they screwed our order twice. Played it securely order a regular cheese pizza. That was delicious.
Outstanding service and delicious homemade authentic Italian cuisine. A welcoming family atmosphere.
We had a party of 10. The menu covered about everything you would want for an Italian restaurant. Our group had the pizza with extra cheese with salads. It was well liked. I had the stuffed shells with the garlic cream sauce. Everything your doctor wouldtell at you for but it was so good. Worth the drive to Alpine.
First time trying Donato?s, after a long day, and it was a great experience. Seated quickly, food was fresh, and everything tasted great! We had the fried ravioli, house salad, rigatoni Donato?s, and the chicken parmigiana. Would come back to eat hereif I?m ever in Alpine.
