Pure Taqueria - Alpharetta

Just always a good laid back vibe here. Love to go when I want a really great hand crafted specialty drink. Definitely recommend the totopas salmon and the prickly pear Margarita.

What happened to Pure Taqueria? The service tonight was poor and the food was average at best. We had a table outside and I literally had to go inside to find my waitress so I could get a check. That must be why there was no wait for tables on a Saturday night. Can’t say I’ll be headed back after this. Pure used to be our go to Mexican restaurant. Really sad to see.

Pure Taqueria serves up fresh and flavorful Mexican dishes in a vibrant setting. The margaritas are excellent, and the patio is great for enjoying a sunny day.

Food was delicious, our server Lucy was fantastic. My only negative would be parking the parking situation there is pretty bad.

I thought the vibe in the restaurant was cool, and certainly felt very comfortable. Parking is a bit tough, you should expect to park somewhere else and walk over, but that probably can be said for multiple places in the area. The menu is small, but the food packs a might punch. I found all the portion sizes to be very good and the flavor was great. From a food perspective, I would happily go back. It was the service that did it in for me. Felt a bit ignored and our meal took about 2.5 hours from our seating to paying the check. Not inherently because we wanted to stay out for that long, but everything seemed to take ages and we would rarely see our server. It is for that reason that I felt like the experience was a bit subpar.
