We visited in August 2020 and had a fantastic experience! We discovered this restaurant through a recommendation from our hotel. We went for breakfast, and the food was outstanding! It would be tough to find a restaurant in Chicago that serves food as delicious and hot. The hospitality was remarkable; it felt like we were having breakfast with family. For the record. Earlier I left a one star review and it was solely because I wasn't paying attention. . I'm here to say we have enjoyed food at coney Island for years and will continue to do so. The food is great. I love their breakfast most of all, and it the local little business that makes or community. If you haven't been there then you really need to stop.
This is a great small town greasy spoon diner. Menu is simple and straightforward, the food is incredible and the staff is great. Best breakfast in Alpena and best coney dogs north of Detroit, MI.
Great breakfast in a small town. friendly service in decent tempo. the French toast was good, but easy to hurry. the best breakfast we had in the city!
Everyone one was soo friendly! If you want a GREAT breakfast, you want to stop at North Coney Island restaurant.
An excellent restaurant and breakfast place. Good food, friendly staff and it's not packed all of the time. Prices are very reasonable. A must place to stop when you are on the south side of alpena.
