I love a good burrito and Cattails has burritos that are excellent. Other dishes we have tried are also very good. Staff is friendly and fun. Manager understaffed the restaurant to cut costs, so we had to wait over an hour for food. Advertised all you can eat fish and then refused to give us more than 3 pieces. The manager also refused to offer a discount it seemed quite unreasonable and actually... illegal (this is the definition of false advertising). Excellent food, friendly staff and offers a beautiful mix of standard design and local craft design beer selection. Really pleasant experience.
We were on a campsite on the street and we said they had the best pizza in town. This is an understatement! You have the best pizza from here to Chicago! We had the Lady Slipper pizza of the Bacon. Wrapped cheese sticks and Bourbon chicken wings. All wonderful! Her hand cut potato Fry's with spices was also wonderful! Chris was very informative about everything in our pizza was the entire staff and the experience was delightful.
Saturday, June 11th at 5 pm I and my brother-in-law stopped. It was a quiet atmosphere nice bar and open grill. I have our drinks. Ask the friendly waitress on some of the local Alpena beer. Also ordered Burger and Fritten a cod dinner. In background music. Dinner was served, my cod dinner, had 3 pieces of slightly broken cod, Cole Slav, real pommes and grilled vegetables. I must say the cook did a great job, this meal was fantastic. The best code ever. I couldn't stop talking about this whole meal. Hats of cat tail. Thanks and can't wait to visit again
First visit and was impressed by food and service. Ordered onion ring appetizer and lg 3 topping pizza. Both were excellent. Very happy that the pizza was so good as we live in Ossineke and don't have to drive to Alpena to get one. Would definitely recommend it!
The ribs were AMAZING!!! Our waitress was super friendly. The new manager cooking duo just started two weeks ago and have found their calling when it comes to the ribs.
