What Chameli Dubey doesn't like about Selera Mama:
A genuine Malay restaurant tucked away in expansive rice fields. A visit is a must for an authentic dining experience. The food is prepared in a traditional manner. Just remember, there are no restroom facilities so plan accordingly. View all feedback.

I've eaten there many times. I usually go there with my parents on Thursday because they have the choice of the bubur (bubur kacang, bubur gandum, etc) on the house. the waiters and waiters are friendly, and because one of the waiters recognize that we have visited many paintings there, she knows my choice of the sose that goes with grilled squid. they create a friendly environment there, we hear that they also chat with the other customers.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for enjoying authentic Malay cuisine at an unbelievably affordable price. You have a variety of Malay dining styles to choose from and the service is quick and friendly, although not upscale.
The ambiance overlooking the padi field is something to look for BUT pricey and lots of flies. Taste wise, mediacore.
Variety food to try, breakfast and lunch. Perfect sambal with fresh fried and grill fish. if you are lucky, you will get kari telur ikan (fish egg curry)
