Rumah Aor - Alor Setar

Great place to dine. Good menu choice, both western and local. Place usually packed when we eat there at 8 o'clock. Beverages: Watermelon lychee, hot lemon, lemon fizz lychee and fizzling soda). Food: Garlic bread ma said to salty), Nasi Goreng Aor roasted rice, chicken wing, sunny side up, flour-coated shrimp with sauce), Korean lawn with popcorn chicken with spicy but loves the presentation) prices somewhat high, but it totally worth it. Not your typical cheese on everything. Will come back sometime to take her Korean chicken wings

Quite a nice experience. Price is a lil' bit on the expensive side considering how the food is just the usual cafe food. But the taste is acceptable. Had nasi goreng aor which was okay; simply nasi goreng cina with telur mata and seafoods on the side. The buttermilk chicken rice on the other hand is close to perfection. My only suggestion is for the buttermilk sauce to be served in a separate bowl rather than letting them go all over the plate cause im not a fan of nasi kuah banjir.

The taste are so so.. Maybe I ordered the menu which they are not excel in.. But overall it is a little bit pricey.. A little bit overrated I think. Owner need to improve on the taste especially their fish n chip. Taste like rubber, not much fish but flour.. With the price offered, I expected fresh fish and good fries. Food are cold when arrive.. Maybe it is readily prepared.. I don't know whether I will come again. But for sure I won't order the same thing again. Good try owner, but to survive, please improve the taste.

I would say the butter chicken is not worth it with the price. To be honest it is the worst butter chicken i ever tried. But the three star is for the drinks. I tried “Air jagung ketagih” and it was really delicious. I would give 5 star for the drinks but the taste of the butter chicken with rice was really disappointing. I would come again maybe for the drinks but not for the foods.
