Bruny Island Wines Grill - Alonnah

A great place for lunch on a day trip to Bruny Island. We did the wine tasting first, then sat down for a yummy lunch, great options on offer, choose share plates or main meals. Recommend the Pinot Noir to accompany your meal!

Had been recommended to go there by locals and we weren't let down. Very good wines and a surprising excellent variety on the menu. Well laid out restaurant and a good way to break up a trip to Bruny

We went to this restaurant as part of the Bruny island traveller tour and it was the highlight of the day! The braised lamb was the tastiest lamb I have ever eaten in my life -so succulent and fresh! The mushrooms with haloumi were also delicious!

My husband and I and our 2 small children dined here and really enjoyed it. The kids split the salmon kids meal (staff suggested putting on 2 different plates which was helpful ). Our 3 and 1 year old ate all of it and I was happy they were eating something so nutritious and tasty. The lamb cutlets were juicy and cooked to perfection. The salmon was moist w crispy skin. The steak was tender. Decent portion sizes.

Well what can I say we it was quite when we went had the pick of any table. Nice friendly staff and enjoyed the fact that they were happy and having fun. The chowder was amazing and the mushrooms and hallumi was fantastic. As for the prices well it's would you'd expect for a winery. Well done to all the staff there
