Last minute booking as in area unexpectedly. Overpriced. Tourist trap serving less than average food. Save your money.

Nous avons mangé au Sandbanks et nous avons été satisfait. La vue sur mer rend l'endroit d'autant plus agréable. Le décor est plutôt simple mais plaisant.Les plats sont bons et plutôt copieux. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique.Le seul bémol est que nous avons attendu nos assiettes pendant presque une heure. Sinon dans l'ensemble c'est assez bien.

Very disappointing experience. Had to send the squid back as inedible and a number of other issues ruined the night. In fairness the staff were accommodating but the whole evening was very underwhelming and I wouldn't rush to go back.Great views of the ocean though.

The views and position of Sandbanks in Vale do Lobo make it a great place. Fish was excellent, dessert which was not on the menu was outstanding. Staff were all lovely and made great wine suggestions.

We had lunch twice at Sandbanks and enjoyed our meals. The food is good, service friendly! Be expected to book as it gets very busy. There aren't many options of restaurants at VDL during lunch time so it does get busy after 1:00pm.
