La semana pasada estuvimos en Almagro, un pueblo manchego lleno de historia por todos lados. Al salir del Teatro Municipal en camino a la Plaza Mayor, descubrimos un restaurante que ofrecía arroces del Mediterráneo, carnes y mariscos. Al principio estábamos un poco desconfiados, especialmente en lo que se refiere al marisco, ya que hemos tenido malas experiencias con mariscos de interior. A pesar de todo, decidimos entrar y desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy a gusto; el lugar estaba decorado con un gusto exquisito, el trato del maître era profesional al 100%, en definitiva, nos sentimos muy bien. Pedimos la carta y vimos una amplia variedad de mariscos, carnes, arroces y platos típicos manchegos... Optamos por un menú para compartir entre dos: una mariscada y un chuletón de buey, acompañados de un vino manchego. Cuando nos trajeron el plato de marisco, mi pareja y yo nos miramos emocionados, ya que la cantidad era generosa y la presentación... ojalá hubiéramos sacado una foto para que la vieran, porque el sabor no se puede describir, ¡delicioso, súper fresco! Con la carne, la misma situación: una presentación excelente y un sabor exquisito. A la hora de los postres nos mostraron una extensa carta, y elegimos una milhojas con crema y chocolate que apenas pudimos terminar porque ya estábamos llenos de los platos anteriores, pero también estaba deliciosa. En relación calidad-precio, uno de los mejores de la zona. Fue una experiencia muy agradable y solo podemos decir que es muy recomendable visitarlo; sin duda, volveremos otro día para probar uno de sus arroces y el pulpo al horno.

Descubrimos este local paseando por el centro histórico de Almagro y nos pedimos un chuletón de buey. Nos encantó, parece que estaríamos en Berriz, como si habríamos comido en nuestra tierra. El servicio bueno, muy atentos. Nos ofrecieron un vino de la zona que resultó ideal como complemento. Volveremos, sin duda.
