Wood Lounge is not on my recommendation list. Me and my boyfriend went there twice. The first time, the drinks were ok but overpriced for the location since the establishment is not located in the central part of Lisbon. There are several other bars in Almada area that end up being a lot more affordable and with better cocktails. Plus, the WC is right by the bowling alley so whenever you go pee, you just listen to balls hitting everything. And because of the bowling alley there is so much noise, it 's almost impossible to chill and talk. The waiting list is also incredibly long, which is normal since there are only two floors available but on top of paying for overpriced cocktails (around 11€ per drink) and a not free.99 headache you will still have to pay per person 8€ to play bowling and other amenities so no, even if you consume something you won 't get a off which is pure robbery. The second time we went was after their rebrand which just basically meant they opened up a kitchen area. They got my friend 's order wrong and she had to wait for half an hour until they finally brought what she asked while all the other members at the table just saw their own food grow cold. The environment did not change, it 's completely the same and it 's not that great, very stereotypical and kind of boring but maybe I 'm being slightly biased. On top of this, the staff is SO RUDE. They went to our table did not ask if we wanted to drink anything and made a rather rude comment that made me an my boyfriend not want to get anything to drink. We stood there for an extra hour and NO ONE approached us to know if we were doing ok or if we wanted to drink something since we were the only people with no drinks in the table. It took about 1h30 for us to be called for bowling but at that time we were all already tired and just decided to leave. All we had was a water glass that looked half drank (they didn 't even fill the glass fully and it tasted so bad I couldn 't even take my pills with it, I 've never drank such bad tap water before) and a coffee because we were so frustrated with their bad service that we decided not to get any drinks. Plus we had to wait around 20 minutes to pay because there is only one individual handling the payments so we had to stand there like traffic signs in the middle of the street. All that 's good in this bar are the amenities if you are willing to wait hours for them but everything else is terrible so go at your own risk. Bar 's Response:. I am not going to be answering anything after this since I do not want this to turn into a discussion. I would just like to address a couple of things. I am portuguese and I have lived 26 years in Almada so I know the city like the palm of my hand your restaurant/bar does not have cheap prices for cocktails nor good quality food it is store bought. I did not taste it but my 4 friends did after you got one of their orders wrong and this was their feedback to me. Using sarcasm and pettiness in your reply is extremely childish (eg our bar is not a teashop when the other only review I have on my profile is of a tea shop). Also you are basically saying that anyone who doesn 't order alcohol will not enjoy your bar so anyone whose religious beliefs strop them from alcohol comsumption shouldn 't go sounds a bit extreme in my opinion. Regarding the water, I LIVE IN ALMADA and my water does not taste like that and if I HAD A BUSINESS I 'd buy something called a filter (which is simple and affordable) and would increase the quality of the water served by tenfold. Greed to gain +2.50€ per small water bottle served while having terrible tasting tap water and putting the blame onto others while there are solutions available, is not the way to deliver good customer service. I will not be addressing the rest of the remarks because they are just the owner defending his ego, unable to understand that this is a constructive review and not meant to be a personal attack (like he did to me). If I could change my review, I would give this business 0 stars. Do not go to this bar. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €30–35
