Retiro Do Pescador - Almada

Amazingly tasty fish! The plate of fish with potatoes and salad is totally enough for party of two.

We had booked a table on a Monday night when not many restaurants by the beach were open. It was all very casual they had not heard of our booking, the inside was closed (Covid being the reason) and several things on the menu were not available. It was a beautiful evening, so we were glad to sit outside and admire the beach and sunset. We went for the clams to start, followed by grilled fish served on a ginormous platter with overflowing vegetables! Substance over style, but the food was delicious.

This guys are taking advantage of a marvelous spot in the beach to overcharge armed robbery in two different flavours: the price and the ridiculous quantity, Regarding the quality its normal for Portugal. Take another restaurant.

Very disappointed with paying 40€ for a single not big dourada. Saw at the menu that a dourara for 1 costs 12€ and ended up paying 40 for a dourada for two.
