Great surroundings and food! Deliciously cooked from the Mediterranean Sea and meals very well and flavored with a special touch of art and cooking experience. Greek and Peruvian cuisine is mixed in a large combination of fish and meat creations. View all feedback.

What Carla Fernández dislikes about Pita.gr:
A normal place to have a few dishes without pita bread despite being called “gr pitas” because the pitas are only for take away and they are unable to serve them at the table for some strange reason. A disappointment. The quality of the food quite normal with little variety to choose from although abundant on the plate. Service: Dine in View all feedback.

Excellent Greek food. The chef/owner Thassos cares a lot about the quality of the food he presents and everything from the taramasalata to the gyros and Greek cheesecake is brilliant. Well worth a visit.

Great food, the staff was very friendly. I could only pay with cash which is a bit inconvenient

Having experienced mainly the Greek cuisine this is an amazing place to feast on some of the various choices, all tasty and surprisingly. Take away is also a fantastic option if you choose one of the many pitas and mezze. Kind staff always willing to help.

Have passed this restaurant often on the way to or from the beach and always thought we should stop in and try it. We did on Monday night nice friendly welcoming staff. Good comprehensive Greek menu and reasonably priced, they also have a Peruvian Menu which looked good but we didnt try this. The food was excellent fresh, quick and very very tasty. All in all a really good experience and I am happy to recommend this restaurant. Greek restaurants in Portugal are not common so its great to have this one

One of the best experiences bang for your buck . Although not a cheap restaurant by any means the quality of the food is vastly superior. The service is personalized and averyday there are non-menu specialties that are amazing.

I went to Pita.gr with a friend who is a regular customer. The restaurant is very cozy, not super loud and the atmosphere was amazing. There was some nice Greek music playing in the background. We were promptly seated and the menu was brought to us and explained by the Chef himself. We started off with melitsana, which is an aubergine pâtè with pita bread, very fresh and full of flavor, and then some other great starters, the spinach rolls were amazing as well In terms of the mains I loved souvlaki, the grilled chicken was juicy and aromatic, and the variety of side dishes was great to try every bit of everything... We loved the desserts and the cocktails. In particular the pisco sour, it was very refreshing and it was prepared for us by the Peruvian Chef Jorge Conclusion: the best food experience that you can get in the area, definitely recommend!

First of all, the food is completely different from anything you could try here in the area. You start with Greek pâtés with a hot pita bread straight off the grill, accompany that with a fresh salad (xoriátiki and you’re already full but soooo ready for the main course I have already tried half a menu (musakas, Greek club burger, souvlaki, gyros, pikilla... and everything tasted amazing, especially the grilled dishes with meat. All of them have that unique Mediterranean flavor, but are much more aromatic, which makes all the difference. The baklava, which is a very sweet dessert, is served with Greek yoghurt that creates a wonderful sweet-sour fusion and takes away the sweetness. The dessert I especially loved was the chocolate mousse, because the sponge biscuit gives a great contrast of the textures. To accompany the dessert I was offered a shot of licor from the Samos island. The hostess and the waiters were helpful, fast and very friendly. The chef is incredible and it is clear that he does care about his clients and their experience. All in all, it’s by far the best place in the area. Highly recommend

The service was really slow, they didn't have proper hygienic products, in order to be careful about the coronavirus. However, the food was delicious, very tasty and great portions. Definitely going to eat, maybe in another restaurant.
