We came on a Wednesday night in April a couple of years ago, only 30 minutes before closing time, but the super friendly owner and the chef made an extra effort to prepare their special meal, which was absolutely delicious. We had a friendly, pleasant chat over a nice bottle of wine and at the end, the owner even offered us a ride back to the ferry, as it was late and we were staying in the center of Lisbon. Really a unique experience! We suggest to everyone who comes to Lisbon to go to Almada and visit this restaurant, believe me it's worth it.

The place is lovely, the staff is super nice and helpful, and the food was so far the best we ate during our holiday! Would recommend them to anyone who wold like to try some delicious and special food.

We tried the portuguese deserts which were quite nice. Definitely one of the best restaurant we went to during our week in Lisbon. It was worth walking all the way to the restaurant.
