Lakeside Bistro - Allyn-Grapeview

The food is truly delicious, especially the roast beef sandwiches served on Friday nights. I also really enjoy the outdoor seating!

Wow, the service was unbelievably poor! We arrived to discover that our reservation for nine had been misplaced. We requested a reasonable ten minutes to prepare some tables, and our drink orders were taken and arrived as expected. However, half an hour later, we started to realize that something wasn't right. An hour passed, and while the tables around us were being served and finishing their meals, the excuses were becoming tiresome. Believe it or not, after waiting an hour and a half for our order, we were told it would be another fifteen minutes. Frustrated, we quickly packed up and went to another nearby restaurant, where we were served within about fifteen minutes. To top it off, the owner was present and showed no remorse whatsoever!

My husband ordered a burger, and it was enormous, juicy, and full of flavor. He really liked the fries, especially when dipped in the delicious sauce! I chose the crab cake sandwich, and it was truly delightful. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which enhanced our experience. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and will definitely return!

The restaurant feels outdated, and each time we've gone, the service has been disappointing. The food is just average, and I think the owner may lack the experience needed to run this type of establishment. Additionally, the atmosphere could use significant improvement. That's why I haven't returned in quite a while!

The Bistro is our favorite restaurant. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and we’ve never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making us feel right at home. It’s delightful to relax by the pond and savor a leisurely meal with family or friends.
