We both ordered the scampi and chips, which were cooked and presented well. The chips were proper "chip shop style" and not reheated oven chips. We went on a Saturday night and the bar was bustling with regular karaoke, creating a lively atmosphere that we enjoyed listening to from the restaurant area.

I sometimes s... read more I visited this restaurant for teatime and Sunday lunch. I had the vegetarian lasagne on Saturday and a roast on Sunday. Both meals were delicious. I sometimes stay in a caravan nearby, so it's convenient to walk there and enjoy a meal and some drinks in the sunshine. The waitress with short hair is always very friendly and the service is excellent. I visit this restaurant at least once a month and recommend it to all my friends. It can get busy, so it's best to book in advance. A friend who joined me was also impressed with the food, atmosphere, and staff. I will definitely be returning soon.

We were not disappointed, the portion sizes are still generous and the food is good. I opted for the smaller portion of the beef curry and it was just right.

Excellent service. initially we hoped to get only chips from the local chippy, but it was closed, so we went to the surf bar to see if they take some chips. the... read more Excellent service. initially we hoped to get only chips from the local chippy, but it was closed, so we went to the surf bar to see if they take some chips. the barman was very helpful and double with. the kitchen checked. we just waited a few minutes for our chips. excellent service, chips were beautiful. we really appreciated this, as the dining room was busy on Sunday night. we already had a meal here (especially to codify) and enjoyed it too. will be back in any case.
