Crown Inn Spice - Allerdale

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is amazing, and the staff even grows some of the ingredients fresh. I have never had a mediocre meal here; they consistently exceed my expectations. If someone wants to treat their taste buds to a unique culinary experience, they should definitely visit this place.

We ordered some appetizers online to accompany the curry we had already prepared. These included popadums, bhajis, and samosas for both vegans and carnivores. The online payment was easy. We opted for a pickup instead of delivery, and a pickup time was provided. We only had to wait briefly for our order to be ready. The staff was friendly and there was a comfortable waiting area. Our food was brought out to our car and was still fresh and delicious when we got home ten minutes later. The flavors were amazing, the popadums were crispy, and all items were enjoyed. The prices were reasonable. Overall, a great spot for a casual meal.

I placed an order for food on a Saturday, but hours later it still hadn't arrived. Eventually, I drove to the restaurant to find out that they still hadn't even started cooking it. After waiting for a few more minutes, I finally received my order and went home. In my opinion, this shows pure greed and a lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Although we used to order from this restaurant every week, we will not be returning after this experience.

The worst curry we have ever had. It went in the bin after we waited min for delivery. Had to read the description on the lid to know which dish was which. Terrible service, long delivery and terrible food. I only gave it star so I could write a review

Appalling.... Overcharged me three times.... Fourth chance got the wrong order and refused to make it right despite my partner's IBS for overspicy..... Steer well clear
