Not sure if i am spelling his name correctly, but Fermin was a pleasure to deal with. Kind, courteous, and not just to us. He was kind to every person who came in during our 45 minute stay. Never made a face or got upset when people came up to ask for anything repeatedly, or when people were rude. Kept his cool, and made sure everyone was taken care. Our family enjoyed Golden Chick. We used to go to the McKinney one. We were happy that this one open here in Allen. Sadly, the excitement didn't last. We've been here 3 times. We usually order the leg and tight bucket. Every time I've been here they say that we have to wait 20 min for the chicken. 3 strikes and you're out! Today makes the 3rd time in a row that I have been to this location and had a problem. 1st of the 3rd visit was just bad customer service and getting an incorrect order and I had to go inside and correct it. 2nd time was poorly cooked food. Today...... everything was wrong. Chicken was old and hard. I also ordered 3pcs of fish and had to wait 10 minutes, which I was willing to do. The fish was so small. It's like they cut a fillet down the middle and charged for 2. So I basically had 1½ filets for the price of 3. I ordered 6 extra rolls and my meal came with 4. Out of 10 rolls, 8 of them were very hard on top and bottom. I also had a large dirty rice for one of the large sides. It was EXTRA dirty. It was just burnt and disgusting. Even had hard pieces in it. I basically paid $43 to come home and throw food away. I will not be going back to this location and don't recommend anyone else going to this location either. I wish I could only leave ½ of a star.
This was our very first visit at this location. We purchased the family pack chicken tenders with macaroni and corn nuggets as our two sides.The corn nuggets were so delicious????????????! They were fresh, sweet and hot (temperature wise). The corn nuggets were just about all gone before we arrived home. We only had nine nuggets left upon arrival to our home. Drop in so and purchase an order of their corn nuggets. Oh! The service was good professional and kind. Enjoy ????!!!

The second time I waited the 20 min., and the chicken was raw, the third time, it had no flavor. Third time is charm. I guess whenever we want chicken I'll drive to McKinney, or maybe I'll give it a last chance. I hope they improve their service and chicken.
Horrible experience and food portion small. They refry everything if it?s been sitting out they would reheat it and not give hot fresh food. I went inside and ask for everything fresh catfish, corn nuggets and roll. They put my food back in the dang grease to recook and gave it to me. I ask them why does my food look old, they said because it just came out of the oil. I asked so many question and not 1 person could give a valid answers nothing but I don?t know or that?s what we were told to do.I ask for my money back and only was refund portion. I ask for the manager and no manager I?ve been calling all day no answer.
I?m only sharing because I?m in the food service Industry myself and I feel like you can?t correct the issue if you don?t know about it it?s very ironic I just got out of a eight hour meeting with our home office team and the focus of our agenda today was driving the value the guest receives despite the incremental price increases we?ve had to implement definitely don?t believe we received any value in the form of the product or service. As we requested our food for Diane after patiently waiting for 15 minutes following up with the cashier to find out the order hadn?t even been began. Oh the whole while we?re waiting on our food the young lady (Maria) who took our order sat in the drive thru window on her phone. When we finally received the food it was boxed to-go and the three piece combo they didn?t have the white meat so they took it upon themselves to substitute for another piece of dried dark meat chicken and still okra was stale?we had to wait for that to be remade. Then they started sweeping around our table as we tried to salvage what was left of our meal. Most likely won?t be back to this location but I love your product usually so I know this is a one off. As a General Manager I would definitely want to know what?s happening in my absence. And I?m assuming the Mod was the gentleman the blue shirt ? Not one time spoke to us or apologized for the several inconveniences.
