A rare find! Wondrous and delicious and homemade dishes! I ordered the Bulgogi Tdukbaegee and I enjoyed every bite I had! I would consider the part generous as I am a great eater and I was very full after I had shaken the whole soup! View all feedback.
What Albert Desjardins doesn't like about Dawon:
It is a self-served restaurant, so ready to order at the checkout and get your drink from your self. You're still asking for the tip, so it's a bit funny for me: . I tried korean bulgogi in over 20 states and this place has the worst. The beef looks like the frozen with the slanted pink color instead of the normal dark brown red. I couldn't eat it. Called at 8pm to ask about being able to bring in our own alcohol for dinner. They said yes so I hung up and got myself and Girlfriend ready to leave. About 7 or 8 minutes later I received a call back asking if it was for dine in the following day. I informed her it was for tonight. She said that the owner said only take out left for tonight. It was 8:20pm and we live in the neighborhood behind them only 2 minutes drive. I was told no can?t come tonight, I asked if their kitchen closes east or something? She said no it doesn?t close early but they close at 9pm. Which we were familiar with and planned on being there by 8:25 latest, not everyone eats at 6pm in the evening. So I suggest if your plan on going there do not show up anywhere near the last hour of business or you will be turned away! 1 of my favorite local spots just lost points in my book! 9pm Close means 9pm Close not be in by 8pm or else??

Friendly service and delicious food. It was a bit more expensive than I expected, but not outdated for a local family business and run restaurant. The dishes are all freshly prepared on site with high quality ingredients. Quick on the table and very clean inside. I'm back.
Dawon serves the most amazing, comforting, authentic Korean foods in the All Area, and their Bento options are my absolute favorites! When I first worked in Allen, that was the place where I would go for lunch. You have these Bento boxes that were filled, delicious and worth the cost! Every Bento normally holds me for lunch and dinner, which is not bad considering that they were only $12 (prices are probably high now). I always get the Boggi Bengo. It came with rice, Bulgogi, Banchan (Kimber, Kimchi, Kohl, Fischkuchen), and fried egg, make these Bengos super colorful! My friend asked to change some secondary dishes because he wasn't like zucchini kimchi and the owner was super accommodating. I just dived once after opening their dining area, but it's a very nice place. The restaurant is slightly dark, and they use disposable utensils. There are 6-8 tables, but most people order the food anyway. The couple is very friendly and I love all my experiences here!
