Eat On - Allahābād

Eat on is on practically every food blog for Allahabad as one of the must visit eating joints so we planned to visit it on our short trip there. It totally lived up to our expectations and beyond! Chicken biryani was perfectly spiced, kebabs were...succulent, portion sizes are good and the prices are very reasonable. Special mention for the owner we are absolutely floored by his hospitality! Since we are out of towners and couldn't locate the new restaurant (location has changed) he came to pick us up from the old location and that too minutes before their closing time!!!! Wow....!!! What an amazing eating point I have seen. Affordable and very awesome food served here. Very nice chicken biryani served. Situated at Civil lines. Main location of city. I would say it is a must visit place to go and eat. I had a...stay for days in Allahabad and i had times food at this place.

The restaurant in the civil lines area of the city, which was once known for its delicious biryani, has now become a mediocre spot for this popular dish. However, if you are looking for reasonably priced biryani of decent to good quality, this is the place to go. Just keep in mind that they do not have seating arrangements available.

I recently visited a well-known spot for Chicken Biryani. It is a popular destination for people from Uttar Pradesh and the military in Allahabad - Eat On, located in the main market road of Allahabad, Civil Lines. The Biryani was perfectly spiced and not greasy. The combination of long grains of rice, aromatic spices, and tender chicken pieces was truly delicious. A must-try for Biryani enthusiasts.
