The Shore Cafe Alkimos

Sunday lunch for two couples was the epitome in a great hospitality experience. A place like this is an oasis in the coffee desert that is the northen suburbs. So.... great coffee. Tick. Lovely lunctime food, sliders shared chips and the veggie panini..yum! The fact that George is hands on and does not compromise on the quality means close attention to detail on the coffee, the food and the service by the lovely team. Tick tick tick. Exciting to see the new stages of Perths northern development, and The Shore cafe is a worthy treat for making the journey.

The cafe is delightfully positioned above the beach. You can sit there and watch the waves crash on to the reef in the distance. The route to it and beach is a bit barren, which isn't a bad thing. I came to eat food not to look at housing plots. The two breakfasts, eggs Benedict and wild mushrooms were very well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed the them. Afterwards we both said we didn't think much of the coffee.

Friends are locals at The Shore. They swear by the great coffee and yummy food too. We stopped by for a coffee on a Saturday morning. The staff forgot part of the order. Gave us some attitude we we asked about it (twice). Oh well, no ones perfect.

Went here for brekky mid-week and were not disappointed. Great little spot overlooking the bay. The large breakfast ($25) can easily be shared between two (unless you are a big eater) and consisted of two eggs, two sausages, toast, tomato, baked beans, mushrooms, bacon. Fairly varied menu choice and of course there is the beach to stroll along to burn off those recent calories. Smallish indoor seating area but plenty of outdoor seating though this place gets very busy at the weekend. shaded lawned areas and BBQ facilities nearby. Terrific spot to dine and then to linger in the surrounds after.

Once again great sized portion and very good value for money. Food was tasty and delivered to the table in a reasonable timeframe. One of the best Chai 's in the area.
