From crossing the Drôme to the French Riviera, we stopped for dinner one evening in Alixan. Our choice was on the Grillobois restaurant. A couple of customers, a waitress and pizzaiollo, the chef in the kitchen I suppose. While waiting for the card, I see the customers get up, one to look for mustard, the other the ketchup, another a carafe. Actually, it's a canteen. I'm not coming back to the dishes, of any kind. We give up the idea of taking a dessert. When I return to the hotel, I look at the reviews and learn that this restaurant was visited by chef Etchebest for Cauchemar in the kitchen. Nothing in the restaurant's layout implied this passage. No pills, nothing typical. To avoid absolutely, except maybe if you want a pizza to take away.
We were passing through a nearby town of Alixan. It was a Sunday evening and had difficulty finding an open restaurant. We fell on this restaurant and were able to see the map on the internet. It was offered pizzas, pasta and gourmet tarts. That was good for us. Once on site, the reception was very cold. When we received the card, much of the dishes were traced to the black marker, including all the gourmet tarts. From our place, we saw pizza making. The paste was all ready, the shallots of frozen trade, not a great quality. We realize that the boss manages the kitchen, the pizza, the service, the bar... at no time have I seen her wash her hands in the cashing of customers and the making of pizzas, even after being grounded... We fell on a dish of pasta. For me, fresh pasta with tomato sauce, trade. My husband chose carbonara. A raw egg (including white) was placed on the pasta. In short, a great disappointment. The fact that dishes are not of quality is one thing, but I also question the hygiene of the restaurant. I advise you to make your way.
Welcome reserved but friendly. Very well renovated room. Excellent Venetian stair and excellent blue meat as well and very generous. Very good family kitchen very copier. We will come back to taste pizza because the wood oven has to make the difference!
Pizza top and well garnished, the wood fire makes the difference. Service pretty fast.I recommend it.
