I used to love their pineapple fried rice here. It was so fresh and delicious. I used to get it weekly when I lived nearby. I was in the area and wanted to get it after a while because I missed it. Unfortunately, the veggies were old, the pineapple was obviously from a can, and the pork was super dry. Everything used to be super fresh! Definitely not from a can. In town for a few days, we found Thai Bite on Yelp, so my wife and I came over for a weekday lunch. Everything was first rate, both food and service. Huge lunch for the money, with soup, salad, and 20+ entree choices with two scoops of rice. I had the Rama with pork 3* heat, my wife had the Mushroom chicken 2* heat. Both perfect, and we happily brought lots of leftovers back with us. All of the staff members were so friendly, courteous and attentive. 5 star!

I ordered the Crying Tiger for lunch and it was good! The prime cut beef was tender and cooked perfectly. Don 't be fooled by the name. I did not shed a tear, ha ha! Service was quick for lunch on a work day and it was a lot. Each order also includes soup that is in a bigger bowl than I would expect for something that is free . I 'll try other dishes next time we 're back in Aliso Viejo.
First time trying this location. I ordered the crying tiger. It was so simple delicious I almost forgot to take a pic! The meet was super tender and flavorful. The winner for me though was the crying tiger sauce. It's a citrus based sauce. It had spice but not too strong, I highly recommend.
Honestly probably one of the best Thai places I've even been to! Pad Thai was solid and duck was amazing. Service was good and food came out in a timely manner. Didn't like how the lights were so dim tho. Still, I'd definitely come back!
