This fishing tavern is the place where you can eat the best squid and the best saganaki food in the whole area. I wholeheartedly recommend that you indulge your taste buds with the dishes prepared by two very hospitable ladies. If you like mussels, or are curious to try them, guaranteed here is the place where you will find the best ones. They are available fried, boiled or as saganaki food . Well, not only the mussels are absolutely delicious, here I ate the best and best cooked squid, simply perfectly cooked. You will definitely conquer the host, Despina is a very kind, agreeable and full of life person, you can't help but adore her. She takes care of each client personally and does everything with the utmost pleasure and dedication, I think this is her secret, not in miracle ingredients. Everything she prepares is fresh, and the vegetables are grown by her in her own garden, I have no words but superlatives. Think that I gave up the traditional restaurants, which I frequented daily (lunch and dinner) in favor of this location, but it doesn't claim to be a restaurant or class, but where you eat is good. What I greatly appreciated was their honesty, I asked for fresh squid (the restaurants in the resort sell fresh or frozen squid at different prices) and Despina explained to us that in August you can't find fresh squid, it's practically not available season. So be careful, pay €35 per kg for the same frozen squid that is €15-18 kg, depending on the chosen location, it sounds like a scam what the restaurants are doing. In order not to stray from the subject, I wholeheartedly recommend you to try this tavern, you will definitely come back. As a tip, when you arrive and are asked what you recommend for that day, it is very possible to find a wild sea bream or langoustine. Very nice food, all fresh! The hostess is fishing alone, I take my hat off to her! And not only! And a very warm and pleasant person, we make perfect company. We can also go in the winter with a wood stove! Nice environment with a view of the sea.!
