I think it's one of the t-shirts. nice place, big tables, very nice staff. important to book. excellent raw material, it's the base of a good restaurant and here they don't disappoint. we order the burger, I think it's the best thing we've eaten. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Terre:
Great location ambience and style. Service don’t fit that. I ordered burger, medium meat and grilled artichoke. Artichoke was perfect , loved it. Burger looked so good with crispy bacon but…. It was very salty I couldn’t eat and meat was well done far away from medium I ordered. I tried to mention it to the staff but didn’t have that opportunity, so sharing here. Nobody asked just collected plates quickly even though... View all feedback.
The food here was fantastic. All three of us had different mains and we all loved them. I’d recommend the lamb and apricot. A delicious blend of salt and sweet. Service is good and an opportunity to people watch when on the terrace.
We arrived here at 8pm for our reservation and sat out on the terrace whilst they were still setting tables. Starting with the food, we very much enjoyed what we ate. The oxtail croquettes were lovely and the meat was very tender. The burger was probably the low-light and was okay. The burrata salad was lovely and it was nice and fresh. The fish with the vegetables was good. For dessert the sorbet was enjoyed and the pavlova was exceptional. We were told the carrot cake was sold out 10 minutes after ordering however this arrived with the other desserts. However, the meal was very much let down by the lacklustre service. Throughout the evening, we had many members of staff serve us, and there was a distinct lack of continuity. When our starters were ordered, we’d asked for two sets of the bread and oil. The croquettes came out and as soon as they had been finished (probably within 15minutes of being sat down), our mains were being lined up to be served. My wife, in Spanish as the English was limited) explained our bread as a starter had not been served. The waitress said that the main courses were now getting cold and that they were to be served now. We cancelled the breads after some clarification of lack of service. It was very unprofessional and she was quite cold towards us as customers. In addition, at the start of the evening, a wine glass was knocked off and smashed behind our table. The large bits of glass were collected, however there were multiple pieces of glass left over the floor for the entire evening, without the area being brushed. Thorough out the evening we then had multiple different members of staff wait on us, which did not help continuity or the communication between staff. When we ordered our dessert, we then heard it passed onto another member of staff 10 minutes later. The lack of communication was then clear when the carrot cake was said to be out and it was served with the other desserts. The venue is lovely and has real potential, however it is let down by some members of staff who do not work with enough professionalism.
Went with my partner tonight for dinner. Had a mixture of the croquettes and bread and oil. The bread was not great and the oil said the neighbouring restaurants name on it. We had to sit outside and it was not a very pleasant experience. We were basically in the middle of a quick way around the markets for people to walk through the out door dinning area. The staff were horrendous, not wanting to help what so ever, we ordered a salad with our main, asked where it was and how long it would take. Got told 2 minutes. Nearly 15 minutes later we had to ask again and by the time it came out the jamon that we had ordered to accompany it has been half eaten as we were starving. Do not get the scallops. I have been feeling nauseous ever since. It lacked flavour, was horrendously not seasoned and for €5 the smallest scallop of my life was served. Not fresh either definitely a few days old and not what you expect from a sea side city so close to the marina. The price did not reflect the expected quality of food. It is a well looking restaurant but don’t get fooled it was the worst meal we have had here in Alicante out of a week of dinners.
Comida rica, buen ambiente aunque mejorable.
