Located close to the city centre on a pedestrian Street this is a good spot for lunch and a glass of wine. The staff speak English and are very friendly and helpful. Had the best patatas bravas ever and great calamari. The house white wine was excellent. View all feedback.
What BrendaSmyth doesn't like about La Dolce Vita Pizzeria:
I admit the service was very good and their prices are cheap but the food is not. I like thin pizzas but they go past that, it is like a thin cracker, my pizza came burnt on the side and my friend had pasta which was not to italian standards, I guess you get what you pay for because it is really cheap View all feedback.

Passed this place many times, usually on way to pizza place next door. New blackboard outside advertises certain pizza and pasta dishes for 5€, usual price of the ones on offer 8 to 9€. Service very quick, drinks order taken and served within 5 mins, coldest beer I've had in Alicante this week. All three of us had 5€ pasta. Server made distinction as to whether we were ordering offer or menu dishes, not sure if there was difference. Had tomato sauce, arrabiata and carbonara sauces. All served with penne, all plain with no garnish or extras other than grated Parmesan. All hot on arrival but served on cold plates so cooled rapidly. All sauces good but not exceptional, arrabiata quite spicy. Quick cheap meal and close to our house, will still go to de l' Artiste next door in preference for pizza.
I stopped in here to mainly charge my dying iPhone and ended up having such a great time that reminded me of how much I love Italy and Italians : The owner (who I learned is from Abruzzo, Italy was so kind and made sure I had a table next to an outlet for charging my phone. I got a Tinto de Verano to drink, which was huge and delicious! Really fresh with several pieces of fruit in it and not too sweet, like some tend to be. About 20 minutes into being there, he brought over a generous tapa of three different amazing cheeses to sample, fantastic olives, and incredibly delicious Italian spicy chorizo which was perfect! They never charged me for this plate and it was so good! One of the cheeses was a Manchego cheese drizzled with honey delicious! Then I ordered a pizza to go and watched him make it right there. Homemade and fantastic! It was really delicious and even when my brother enjoyed the left overs hours later, it was still really good. The outdoor area is great, right in the plaza, and the inside is quaint and romantically Italian as well. A must visit for good food and people, and that great Italian hospitality, in Alicante.
Ate here twice its a no frills restaurant €10 gets you a pizza or pasta a drink and a coffee. First time we added starters which upped the bill to €30 still cracking value
Good price ratio, excellent pizzas; the service somewhat slow. I write it down to take you home as one of the best options.
