What Jaunita Emmerich doesn't like about Asia Chic:
Have been here many times and this time the food was as good as ever. Bit of a disappointment with the slow service and lack of dips for the prawn crackers. Had to ask for extra drinks and then again for the bill. No check...on how the meal was or if we wanted anything else. Will try again -once but expect improvement View all feedback.
I have been here a few times when it was Asian chic it was always good, but now it is changed hands in the new names for beginners it was all frozen food deep-fried grand the main courses was average for the best first time I was. never leave the tip when eating was that bad suffering will never be again

Excellent eating, a lot of choice on the menu del dia and all at a very competitive price. service is brilliant. they are fab with the children! beautiful decoration also. can't be mistaken for a family meal!
As a dweller of cabo roig, the old asia chic restaurant was one of our most popular. the end of the replacement by the new hong kong in the early year we were not impressed by our first visit, but since they were only open one week, gave them the advantage of the doubt. we tried it again last night. it was totally ghastly. for a starter I chose the seafood salad. a bowl arrived in which somewhat liquid resembles a diluted version of the chili sauce served with the usual garn crackers. in it float pieces of roared iceberg salad, two small garnels and what once finely cut crab sticks, now reduced to minutes fragments plus some half of minutes kirsch tomaten. the “Salad” was obviously dipped out of a large kitchen container. I had chosen prawn gong bao as it was a special dish in the old asia chic. the red and green paprika were al dente and tasty, but as far as taste is concerned, the rest of the dish could have been absolutely everything. there were ten medium-sized to small garnels and a full of twirl. my wife chose duck with pineapple. this was gristy and fat with bone pieces, something we never experienced in a Chinese restaurant in cabo roig. the companion rice and noodles were in order (how can they pamper them, like the red wine I requested. the only decent part of the meal was the cheesecake. as usual, when the bill was requested, we were asked if we wanted to be schnapps. we asked for our favorite, hazelnut. what came was hazelnut snaps, but it had been diluted with water. (I should know how to keep a bottle in the refrigerator. it was easy to remember. No one came to check us after the food was delivered. the personal seemed miserable and at a rather crowded place the customers seemed to be left behind to get on with it. a huge contrast to the happy smiling employees in the old asia chic, where you felt welcome and special. the new hong kong is a culinary catastrophe area. it seems to belong to and guide by people who have been rejected by the school meal service. never again!
An ideal place to go to experience Asian cuisine and not too expensive either if you go for one of the menu options. We have always found the food to be perfectly cooked and the flavours are fresh. Always go there when we are in...the area.
