I called a few times and the line was busy. Finally I got through and ordered my Fish and Chips. It's about $10 per order. It was busy with only take out orders during Quarantine/Stay at home orders. The cook who also was also the cashier and server had his hands full. He also had his kids there with him But he was wearing a mask and No one was allowed inside the restaurant. All orders were paid for picked up at th... View all feedback.
What Karen K doesn't like about New England Fish Chips Chinese Food:
Prices are pretty good. For about $40 we got the family meal which had 10 pieces of fish, French fries, and sauce. I can't say it's the best fish and chips I've ever had, but not the worst, either. Really good price, though. The fish is pretty greasy. I added lime, my own pickled veggies, and Sriracha to the sauce, which helped a lot. My daughter who is 4 ate a full fish and some fries by herself. My son, who is 1.5... View all feedback.
I was craving fish chip recently and wanted to order from here. Sadly, the place closed. This place been around since forever. I read a review that they had to close due to lease termination. If that was really the case, I really hope they can open else where in the area. I really enjoyed the food here. The family was nice as well. So sad...
Pretty standard fish and chips. Got a combo 1 1 pc of fish 2 pc Shrimp Fries Came with cocktail sauce and tartar. Could have definitely used a wedge of lemon to cut some of the friedness. Some coleslaw would have been nice with a combo. Will go back to try some of the Chinese food.
#covid2020 Friday 5:30pm Party of 2 Looked on YELP and it led us to this place. We planned to order when we got there and take the food back to our hotel room to enjoy. During covid, there is no choice to eat in, it 's all take out. Walking in the entry door we stopped quickly to stand behind a table which would serve as the space to pay. One person was walking out with his order as we walked in. As soon as we walked in our order was taken. The menu is on the wall. Sister order C1: one piece of fish two large jumbo shrimp and fries. I ordered the shrimp basket, which is popcorn shrimp and fries. Sister ordered a can of rootbeer and I asked for iced tea. The person taking our order asked, Is Chinese tea okay? Sure. Basically that meant green tea, which I love, versus Snapple or Lipton or some other brand. After paying, we were told we needed to wait outside. The order taker said if we wanted to wait in our car on this 90 degree day, she would bring our order to us when it was done. No problem.
Anyone recommend another place like this? Loved their Chinese food since I was a kid late 80s atleast
We came to this spot after hearing about it by local foodies. Great recommendation indeed. They have weird hours and were about to close but they went ahead and took our order anyway. 2 orders of fish and chips. We came back 15 minutes later and our order was ready to go. The fish and chips were the most delicious fish and chips I've had in a while. The batter was golden and crispy. The portions were pretty generous. Delicious fish and good service? You can't go wrong with that. They have plenty of other things on the menu. They have many different Chinese dishes too. Look at all that variety, jesus! I'd definitely recommend this place and I'll be back sometime in the near future.
