You need to enter from a busy street and immediately make a U... read more The restaurant can be difficult to locate as it’s situated within a medical and business building. You need to enter from a busy street and immediately make a U-turn to park in the underground lot. There is a stairway that connects the parking area to the upper level. On this visit, I was with just one other person, so we were seated quickly. We decided to start with the roti canai with chicken curry (the server insisted it tasted better than the roti canai without curry) and kaya toast with butter (again, the server recommended adding butter). Both dishes were indeed very flavorful, although the chicken curry with the roti might have been more than necessary. For my main dish, I ordered the dry wanton mee with curry chicken (N1) for $13.95. The curry chicken was delicious, especially the dark meat, and they were quite generous with the portion of noodles. My dining companion chose the Singapore-style Hainan chicken rice (R1) for $14.95, which she thought was just okay. It looked like there wasn’t much chicken on the plate, but it’s their signature dish and best seller. I would love to return to sample more of their offerings, including what they refer to as white coffee. In the future, I might skip the toast, as it doesn’t quite feel like a meal to me.

The rice and chicken in my nasi lemak was dry, the char kway teow was bland, and the beef rendang was mediocre. The milk tea and roti were also just ok.
