What Sarah Frauchiger dislikes about Algonac Flaming Grill:
This place is absolutely awful. The waitresses have the worst attitudes. You can feel tension between everyone. You can hear them talking **** about customers and each other. There is no consistency on how the food is cooked and it's over priced. They charge extra for fries with a burger. This place is absolutely awful. The waitresses have the worst attitudes. You can feel tension between everyone. You can hear them talking **** about customers and each other. There is no consistency on how the food is cooked and it's over priced. They charge extra for fries with a burger. They raised the booths but didn't raise or get new high chairs so the high chairs are no longer table height. They put the ceiling fans under the lights so as the fans go around it causes the lights to appear as if they are flickering. If I could give the service and atmosphere zero stars I would.
I have never had anything other than an excellent meal here with excellent service. Breakfast or lunch, reliably tasty generous! Just had their patty melt: perfection! Even their fries are better than elsewhere. No one makes a special request corn-beef hash “crispy” like Flaming Grill. The grits portions are huge—as most everything. So much, it’s like getting a 2nd meal to go! Great variety from Greek to Mexican to All American more. Interior is always immaculate attractive. Lots of comfy Booths! Such pleasant wait staff… whoever is working the kitchen sure does it well!!!
Very good place to eat.. my husband and I are from out of town, and we happen to stop here for breakfast, and we received great service, and great food. Definitely recommend
Love having Breakfast to go or Dine in here the Gyros are really good to for lunch and sometimes for dinner too. Great food to count on when eating here.
They charge you a fee for using a card and never told us before we had ordered food. I do not shop at places that do this.

Visited the Algonac Flaming Grill today for a late lunch. Their Double Bacon Cheeseburger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Cooked to perfection as I ordered, two huge burgers each with bacon plus lettuce, tomato and onion. The fries were great too. The service was top notch and all the staff were super friendly. We will definitely eat here again when we visit. Algonac is a lovely town with a great boardwalk on the St.Clair river. Well worth a visit. Parking: Right outside the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly easy for wheelchairs, plus accessible washrooms, which appear newly renovated and clean.

We absolutely love visiting this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding. We've never had a negative experience and are truly grateful to support this local gem. We stumbled upon this place over a year ago after a long day of fishing, and it has become one of our favorites ever since. It's evident that the staff works incredibly hard and consistently strives to provide an exceptional experience for customers. We've even received personalized notes with our orders, filled with warm and caring messages (photo included). Thank you to the owners and the entire team for your dedication, hard work, and genuine service to the community. You are greatly appreciated!
We make a 45-minute drive to enjoy the home-style cooking, friendly hometown vibe, and stunning views of the St. Claire River. If you haven't tried their geese, you're in for a treat—they're incredibly rich and creamy, not watery like in many other places. The bacon is consistently perfect, too. It's definitely one of our favorite places to eat!
Although we haven't dined in, we've placed many orders from this restaurant. Their salads are delicious, and the pink Greek dressing (which I was informed is homemade) is fantastic! The stir fry is substantial, packed with vegetables and your choice of protein, though it can be a bit heavy on the sauce. Overall, it's a solid dish. We also tried the patty melt and Reuben sandwiches, both of which were very tasty. The customer service has always been excellent. While the ambiance might not be impressive, if you're looking for generous portions of great food at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place to visit.
Really good food. Large parts of everything. Great service always. Nice atmosphere too. I see I'm here regularly. Best chili cheese ever!
The service was good but this time the food was horrible and over priced I can honestly say this is not what I expected from there I spent over $40 for some very sub par food

I highly recommend this restaurant! The service is excellent and the food is delicious. I particularly enjoy the breakfast, and the staff are very friendly.
I really appreciate the waitstaff, but it's unacceptable to have someone in the back loudly using profanity while everyone in the dining area has to hear it. That person should be let go! He even had the audacity to come out and verbally confront a customer, bragging, "I’m a grown man!" Well, at least he got part of that right. Many families ended up leaving without paying their bills because of the situation.
