My wife and I drove thro... read more One of my favorite dining experiences!!! The cook/owner was so gracious and has great pride on his abilities and service to his diners. My wife and I drove through Algona and saw the restaurant. We miss the Spencer location. I called to ask if she was Pasta Fazool (fagioli), an Italian chili I love! It's not on the menu, but he asked how long until we were there. He went to the store and bought the missing beans and made a lot of ground up. It was so fabulous!!! He stopped at our table to see how I liked it. So humble and happy to please a customer, a rare experience and so appreciated! Algona and surroundings have a special gift in Napoli. My mother shared a dinner... read more ATTENTION ALGONA AREA PEOPLE! I ate with 5 others on Napoli's Sat. We ordered dinner dishes, even if their lunch options looked good. My mother shared a dinner dish with Steve because they had eaten there before and knew that the dinner portions were large. All our dishes were excellent and ordered. Sauces were made clearly by scratches. They should jam and sell their spaghetti sauce. My spicy shrimp dish was fabulous and had one of the best sauces I ever had in a restaurant. My wife had the chicken piccatta and loved it (she is Italian from Chicago). We ate dessert, though we had leftovers to take home and it was also great! This place fills an empty niche in the city and it is important that we support it. There are very few places where you can get fresh to order food with the homemade flavor that this place offers. Go away from the ride through food and eat something good! I have no doubt that they make the best pizza in town and I will try next time. I will certainly eat there every time I am in town, not miss!

We waited over half an hour for our meals to arrive, despite the restaurant not being busy. Just before our food was served, I heard the microwave beep, and when my dish arrived, it looked like it had just come out of the microwave, with that typical film over it that you see on reheated food. I ordered the chicken Marsala, which had very little flavor, and the chicken was rubbery. My husband chose the veal Parmesan; he said it tasted fine, but by the time our food finally came, he wasn’t even hungry enough to eat it. Unfortunately, we felt like we wasted our money.
