The camarones al mojo was mediocre and lacked flavor, mostly consisting of salad. There are better Mexican restaurants in the area, so I wouldn't return to this one.

The rice was tasty, but the crab and shrimp didn't seem fresh, possibly canned, and there were bits of shells in the dish. It was filling but not very enjoyable.

The picadillo is offered as a meat option on a lot of dishes and is tomatoey, earthy stewy and very delicious. The birria tacos were seasoned really well. The cons I'm a hard judge of house margaritas and I should have upgraded to a pricier marg. The house was sweet with that familiar neon green of crappy chain Mexican restaurants (hello Chi chis). The service got knocked in other reviews and I understand why. There seems to be the main waiter and most interaction had to be done through this one guy for all the tables in the restaurant. He hurried through our order and got it wrong, serving us the wrong dish. Also he served me birria without the soup side that is crucial to the dish. The man was literally running at one point. It was unfortunate as there were other support staff milling about that seemed underutilized. Studies show that tips go up when service is a team sport. The main server model is old news.
