The restaurant is very small with quirky decor, often packed with customers, so you may have to share a table with strangers and make new acquaintances. The pies here are all phenomenal, with generous portions of fresh slices that vary based on availability.

Dining companion had sloppy jo with ham potato soup and cherry pie. Each had a bottled water.Generous portions but I was hungry and it was fantastic so cleaned my plate. Total for both meals was $24.They barely missed 5 stars for me! When in Algona, I will go back and try something else, plus buy and entire pie to take home.
