Was Andrea Kalpin at Stebbins a mag?
We spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The building is full of character, and each room features a unique theme (I highly recommend the Bayou Bend room). The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly. This was our second stay, and we will certainly be returning! View all feedback.
What Melissa Mae dislikes about Stebbins:
The food quality did not match the prices or the menu. The fish buffet was just average. I was surprised to see the waitstaff eating from the buffet while customers were still dining. Additionally, the owner brought her dog into the restaurant, which was quite off-putting. To make matters worse, the waitstaff listened in on our table's conversation while cleaning and even joined in, which felt intrusive. View all feedback.
I’ve always been curious about this restaurant. I met up with friends, had a great time, and we’ll definitely be returning!
I recently stayed at Hotel Stebbins with four friends for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This hotel is truly unique, and we enjoyed our time there immensely. The staff were incredibly friendly; I even had a lovely chat with the owner this morning, who is such a delightful person. She wished me a happy birthday twice during our stay, which was a lovely touch. The charm of this place is unmatched, making it the best hotel I've ever visited with that classic old-world feel. I highly recommend Hotel Stebbins to anyone looking for a memorable stay. It's an all-around fantastic place with equally fantastic people. Be sure to add this hotel to your list of places to stay—you won't regret it! A big thank you to the owner and her staff for making our visit so enjoyable; we look forward to coming back next time!

Went here for my wife’s birthday dinner. I have had drinks here before and the bar was always good. The dinner we had was great as well! Our waitress Desiree was excellent and did a great job with our “naughtiness”. Kristine and her group will make your group feel very welcomed and provide you a great meal.
They fry all if their food in the same oil as the fish, so if you have a fish allergy, don't eat here. Our table seemed to be cursed or something. We got our food late and didn't see our server for over half an hour. Had to ask for our dessert from a completely different server. The dessert took a long time to come out and one of the dishes that was supposed to be warm was cold. Spent over an hour and a 45 minutes here and more than half of that time was spent waiting. It was more than ridiculous. People who were seated after us were served their food and dessert before us. There were only four other tables that had people seated at them. Not going here again.
