We were recommended this place by sister, and...she was right! After trying some disappointing creme catalane in fancy places in the centre of Alghero, we tried this one. And it was all worth it! The lady who served us was extremely nice as well. I warmly recommend it! View all feedback.

While on holiday I had breakfast in here. Proper italian breakfast with plenty choices of cakes. I absolutely adore this bar.
Saturday, May 23 2015. Walking along outside the historical centre, we found this bar/caffe/pastry shop on a quiet corner. There were only a couple of savoury snacks available, so we tried one of each. The pastry was good and fillings of tomato, prosciutto and cheese in one and egg, prosciutto and cheese in the second were tasty. Sparkling wine, beer, then cappuccino and macchiato, and two delicious pastry treats came to 15 Euros. Unexpectedly, the bar offered Aperativo: peanuts, cheese, salumi, pickles, chips, two appetizers. Another unexpected, free treat was a sort of hotdog in a hamburger-style bun. The spicy pork sausage with fried onions was really flavourful. The bar/caffe was very pleasant, clean, nicely decorated with venetian chandeliers and had friendly service.
