This restaurant was well worth a visit. Professional and personable. The food was among the best we have had in Alghero! The service was exemplary. Daniel, our waiter, took time to explain the food and wine. Have the fish plate for two. It was sublime! We will be back next time we visit Alghero!

Great food and nice service. We had an outside table, which was also nice. Not cheap, but worth the money.

Low key , nice little restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Tuna was lovely (could have been more rose but was still delicious), so was the typical Sardinian pasta. Potatoes were over cooked and clearly reheated, grilled veggies were okay. I gave 5 stars anyway because we really enjoyed the meal.

Warm welcome, fabulous food, excellent service, catered really well for gluten free requirements., lovely ambience. Would certainly come again.

Low key, nice little restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Tuna was beautiful (maybe more rose, but was still delicious), so was the typical Sardinian pasta. Potatoes were boiled and thoroughly reheated, grilled vegetables were fine. I gave 5 stars anyway because we really enjoyed the meal.

Lovely, cozy restaurant with cave-like decor. Waiter was very friendly and professional, and spoke English like a native. My husband and I shared an appetizer of a warm octopus dish that was plentiful and very tender, one of us had a whole fresh dorade fish as a main course and the other had the lamb cutlets that were very tender and still pink inside. House wines are available by the glass, half-litre, and full-litre carafes, Both red and white wines were very pleasant, although the red was served a little cooler than we would have liked. There is also a wine list by the bottle. The entire lunch was a very satisfying experience.

Ate here last night and food was very good .We both had fish dishes and they were really nice.Franco our waiter looked after us really well.Would recommend to book as people were queuing outside but it was nice of the restaurant to give them complimentary prosecco as they waited.would recommend

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this amazing restaurant tonight. The waiters spoke English and were very helpful to us choosing our dishes. I had the Dorado fish which was cooked to perfection and deboned at the table. My partner had tuna, cooked to perfection also. The house wine was devine and all in all it was excellent value for money. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Me and my wife had dinner here. The food was below average for Alghero. The starters of cured meats where sweaty and dry. The cheese cuts were dried out on the corners. For main i had a steak advertised as a Entrecote but it actually was a Chuck steak full of nerves. I asked for rear, they served it medium/well. I told the waiter who was clearly not happy. It took them 28 minutes to replace my steak. Upon ordering desert i asked if the waiter if the cheesecake was home made. The answer was yes. They served it whilst it was still frozen in the centre. Prices are high street. The next day i had a cheese cake in another restaurant. The same exact cake, same portion size, same aspect and same flavour so I asked the waitress if it was home made. She told me they buy them frozen. Restaurant Gioberti was a tourist trap. Not a single Italian was having dinner there.

Delicious food

Low key, beautiful little restaurant in the heart of the historic center. tuna was beautiful (may have been more rose, but was still delicious), so was the typical Sardinian pasta. potato was boiled and clear reheated, grilled vegetables were in order. I gave 5 stars anyway because we really enjoyed the meal.

We did not receive any discount, and according to the order on your website we were entitled to 20%. In addition, we had to ask for the rest to be returned. the food was average and so was the service, everything had to be asked for and there weren't many guests to serve at the time. compared to our last visit two years ago, the level has dropped significantly.

A good restaurant without great pretenses.

Very quiet lunch of the week. fast and courteous staff. good quality food. positive price quality ratio. recommended recommended
