Stopped in for a quick coffee and ordered two double cappuccinos (that’s just a cappuccino with a double espresso shot). We were charged €8, which seemed steep. I checked the price list behind the bar: espresso was €1.10, cappuccino €1.30. By that logic, two double cappuccinos should have been less than €8. When I politely questioned the price, the staff member became defensive and tried to justify the charge with some questionable maths. After a bit of back and forth in Italian, she abruptly threw €2 on the counter and walked off. No explanation, no apology. It wasn’t about the money, but the principle. If you want tourists to come back, don’t treat them like walking wallets. Rude and unprofessional. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €1–10
